The art of soft shapes. Design unfolds not as a single gesture, but as a finely tuned blend of form, material and light. The result is a spacious interior, yet one that never feels aloof. Anita Holzer showed us around to the recently completed spaces.

We were delighted to contribute to this striking ambience with our expertise in fabrics and craftsmanship, as a partner to the architect.

“We made our final choice of materials during a visit to the Design Centre in Mils. Of all the many different samples and materials we saw, we fell in love with the wallpapers. They really catch the eye of all our guests.”

Starting in the public areas, you immediately notice how soft lines have been used throughout. Curved sofas, rugs in rounded shapes and lighting fixtures with an organic feel create a fluid and supple atmosphere. This results in spaces remaining open and flowing.

Warmth, well placed. Wood plays a key role – but in a modern way. Different types of wood, warm tones and fabrics with a variety of textures come together as a harmonious collection of materials. A touch of burnt red adds a highlight. Upholstery fabrics in brown, stone and natural tones create a solid yet vibrant foundation for the interior design. Nothing is loud or overpowering.

Rooms with a refined sense of style. This design philosophy extends to the 20 newly refurbished deluxe rooms as well: featuring upholstered headboards, softly framed beds, calm curtains and designer lighting. Here, the design principle is not one of abundance, but of careful coordination. Every area feels thoughtfully designed and well finished, yet never over-staged.

This is how the architects at the Mooshof have created spaces that convincingly combine softness and quality. A hotel that goes beyond staging tranquillity, by creating a mindful and secluded atmosphere with the help of materials and a well balanced approach.
