Tradition doesn't need clichés — just look at the new rooms and suites at the Hotel Saltria. What lively tradition does need, however, is an evolution.
When aged wood no longer matters and passes the baton to smoothly polished, light-coloured wood with a strong grain: lively, relaxed, natural. Sometimes used for floors, walls and ceilings, it creates a light-hearted sense of comfort, providing protection without being overwhelming. And it quietly invites the landscape of the Alpe di Siusi into the interior.
Soft colours, fabrics with character, contemporary shapes and calm patterns: the material and design concept created by Art Domus architects appears coherent — and not at all alpine. Together with the wood and stone used in the washrooms, these elements combine to create a contemporary, well-rooted atmosphere.
