HOTEL FLIANA****S
ISCHGL (A)

Fliana – the name evokes a sense of lightness, cheerfulness and uniqueness. It is also the name of a mountain in the Silvretta range – a lovely contrast: this building is surrounded by mountains, yet does not present a traditional Alpine backdrop. Clean lines, modern materials and striking wall designs translate the Alpine aesthetic into a contemporary design language. Subtle in its colour palette, bold in its structure, daring in its details.

The Hotel Fliana’s interior is built on muted colours, striking wall surfaces and a strong sense of textural quality. The rooms feel deliberately composed, yet not overly polished.

Subdued, but not plain. The colour palette is toned down and gains depth thanks to subtle natural shades. Neutrals meet mustard yellow, sage, moss and other shades of green. Colours without loud accents, lending the rooms a calm, rich atmosphere.

Textured surfaces, unusual motifs, and fabric and acoustic panels create a variety of moods in different rooms. A jungle motif, a gorilla? Yes, indeed. However, their presence is subtle and seamlessly blending in, almost like a playful wink. It is precisely these small touches making a difference in the the interior.

Fabrics with depth: the textures and feel of the materials narrate their own stories.

Mélange yarns, vibrant surfaces and unusual patterns add character to the upholstered furniture with its clean lines. There are also quilted textures, which always look elegant, graphic details and floral accents with a truly ‘special effect’. High-quality, but without a high-gloss finish.

FAQ

Three questions on the Hotel Fliana project

Please refer to our general FAQs for answers to other questions.

The interior features calm, muted colours combined with highly distinctive details. Neutral tones, mustard yellow, sage, moss and other shades of green form a subtle backdrop. Striking wall surfaces, unique motifs and textured fabrics add depth and character to the rooms, as well as a subtle design twist.

Muted colours are not necessarily boring. On the contrary: if you put them together carefully, they create a calm and sophisticated atmosphere with a lot of depth. In busy hotel areas particularly, understated colour schemes can give a sense of orientation, warmth and comfort without making the spaces feel cluttered.

In hotel projects, the impact of an interior is often determined by the details: surfaces, textures, colour tones, patterns and meticulous craftsmanship. Expertise when it comes to materials helps to translate design ideas into spaces that look great and stand the test of time in the day-to-day life of a hotel. This is precisely one of the key strengths of home INTERIOR.
