History meets fine art meets textile design.
A rare gem: “Das Ludwig”, an art & boutique hotel in the historic centre of Lindau. The building from the 15th century is heritage-listed and not very large. Ideal for a hotel with a very intimate atmosphere and a perfectly unique style.
Seven individually designed rooms each take a colour from the customized colour and art concept and use it to create a unique ambience. For example, there is the ‘White Room’, the ‘Grey Room’ or the ‘Golden Room’, the latter featuring a roof terrace with a view of the Old Town.
Everything reflects the personal signature of Alexandra Unterberger, who took the role of planner and interior designer. Hence, she was responsible for the entire design of the hotel while remaining true to her principles of “timeless design, high-quality materials and short supply routes”.
